You have your own story; a history of defining moments, events, and circumstances that have shaped your life. I am passionate about creating a safe space where you can be free to be open and vulnerable. Your healing and growth in counseling occur through meeting you where you are at with empathy, active listening, and unconditional positive regard. It would be a privilege and honor to be a companion and guide on your counseling journey. Please contact me for a free 15 minute phone consultation.

I have extensive experience working with individuals of different age ranges, as well as couples and families. I have treated those in outpatient, home, and community settings and often worked with individuals post psychiatric hospitalization. My specialty areas include, but are not limited to: trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

In my clinical practice, I utilize a Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral (DBT), and psychodynamic approach to therapy. I believe cognitions influence behavior, and early childhood events can shape how one views themselves, others, and the world. This results in learned patterns of thinking and behavior that can be brought to awareness with counseling. I am certified to work with couples as a SYMBIS and Gottman Level 1 clinician by focusing on communication/conflict resolution skills while restoring friendship and trust in the relationship. I can integrate Christian counseling for those who are interested in incorporating faith in their treatment.
