If you are reading this, you have already taken the first step! Seeking support can often feel like the hardest part. You may be working to better understand yourself, healing from past traumas or navigating difficult emotions in relationships or everyday life. Whatever your reasons for reaching out, I’m glad you’re here.
As a therapist I strive to foster a dynamic, generative and trusting relationship to meet you wherever you may be in your journey. My practice is grounded in curiosity, humility and an anti-oppression framework. This means that my understanding of each client is informed by their own experiences of the systems they have navigated and how this has impacted their wellbeing. Over the last ten years, my work has centered around the exploration of sexuality, gender, medical and social transition, experiences of trauma, depression, anxiety and attachment injuries.
I am passionate about working with clients to explore their intersecting identities and past experiences as they inform the present. As a member of queer, gender non-conforming, polyamorous and BDSM/kink communities myself, I appreciate the value of working with providers who are not only clinically trained in these areas but may also share identities with their clients.
If I sound like a good fit for your needs, we will work together to co-create a therapeutic space where you can feel safe to be challenged and grow. I look forward to partnering with you to develop skills for self-compassion, emotional regulation, healthy relationships and more.
Outside of my professional life it is important to me to center activities that help me access connection, presence and joy. I am happiest when I am cooking for people I love. I enjoy going to live music and burlesque shows, meditating, reading fiction and working on the home I share with my partner, our three cats and two dogs. I also love to spend as much time as I can outside hiking or camping with my dogs.
