I believe in connection. I believe in authenticity. I believe that our early childhood experiences impact our adult selves and how we relate to the world. I counsel from the belief that the relationship between client and therapist is central to growth and healing. My approach is client-centered and collaborative, and my goal is to empower clients to set goals and realistic action plans to achieve them.

I support a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and the consequences of trauma. I hold a particular interest in assisting clients through family transitions, whether it involves navigating conflict, adjusting to the addition of a child, or seeking a sense of balance. Drawing on principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, neuroscience, and psychodynamic theory, I aim to integrate culture and identity into our understanding of your approach to life.

Ema Simpson, M.Ed.

Life is tough, and we all get knocked down once in a while. I’m here to help you achieve a happier and healthier lifestyle, drawing on your unique strengths. In our sessions together, I utilize mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral techniques. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults experiencing anxiety, struggling with life transitions, and/or trying to bring more balance into their lives.

Kelsey Meltzer, MS

I believe that we are not exclusively distressed by external things, but by the thoughts and beliefs we take of them. Integrating my unique style and approach to relationships, I aim to help you explore and challenge these beliefs that no longer serve you. As a trained generalist clinician, my areas of interest are primarily focused on sexuality and related issues. I help individuals connect to and embrace their sexual and gender identities, explore new levels of intimacy, and improve their overall sexual satisfaction.

Briana Sinden, M.Ed.

In our time together, I strive to develop your sense of strength, self-understanding, and self-compassion. My support for adults and teens includes trauma work, relationship conflict, substance misuse, emotional regulation, consensual non-monogamy, LGBTQIA+ mental health, and body image work (with a focus on body neutrality and deconstructing diet culture).

Jenny Smith, LPC, CFRC, NCC

I support adolescents and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, interpersonal/relationship conflict, LGBTQ+ issues, trauma, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, life transitions, and ADHD concerns. I work from a theoretical foundation of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT) with a trauma-informed approach. My goal is to provide a collaborative and trusting atmosphere and to consider the holistic needs of each person, including physical, mental, relational, and spiritual wellness.

I support children, adolescents, and adults through a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, life-transitions, emotional dysregulation, LGBTQIA+ matters, suicidal thoughts and self-harm, interpersonal and family conflict, trauma, low self-esteem, and behavioral problems.

I recognize the undue mental health burden plaguing today’s women. My support for adolescent and adult women includes anxiety and depression, perinatal mental health, relationship and intimacy issues, life transitions and adjustment, and infertility and/or infant loss. I desire to create a space where you can be authentic and assured that your vulnerability will be engaged with the utmost respect.
