Specialty: Conduct and Impulse Control

Rebekah Rexrode

I believe in connection. I believe in authenticity. I believe that our early childhood experiences impact our adult selves and how we relate to the world. I counsel from the belief that the relationship between client and therapist is central to growth and healing. My approach is client-centered and collaborative, and my goal is to empower clients to set goals and realistic action plans to achieve them.

Rachel Costlow, MA, NCC

I believe in a holistic approach to counseling that considers each individual’s unique life experiences and overall wellness. My training and clinical experience involves individuals experiencing mood disorders, self-esteem and body image issues, trauma, and relationship conflict including perpetrators and victims of physical and emotional abuse. I also have experience working with individuals involved in the justice system and those mandated to treatment. Every person deserves a safe place to learn about the connection between their thoughts and emotions, and to ultimately learn healthier coping behaviors.

JaNae Messick, MA, NCC

I specialize in adolescents, young adults, women’s issues, and parenting. Some common issues I address include: anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, stress and overwhelm, challenges with roles and work/life balance, emotional dysregulation, boundary issues, self-esteem and self-confidence, loss and grief, and relational conflict and disconnection. My therapeutic approach is warm, non-judgmental, curious, and collaborative. I believe you are the expert of your life, and I am honored to walk with you for a time.

Lauren McCall, M.Ed, Resident in Counseling at Sunstone Counseling

I believe all individuals contain the power of resilience. If life has thrown you a curveball, if you are hurt or grieving, or if you are just feeling stuck, it is easy to lose sight of this. I offer an empathetic and collaborative approach that helps individuals harness their strengths to necessitate healing and growth. I focus on trauma-informed modalities with a strong focus on Gestalt Therapy (the focus on the here and now). I utilize elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and various other techniques. I have dedicated nearly ten years to providing services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence but also work with diverse clients facing many types of life stressors and transitions.

Briana Sinden, M.Ed.

In our time together, I strive to develop your sense of strength, self-understanding, and self-compassion. My support for adults and teens includes trauma work, relationship conflict, substance misuse, emotional regulation, consensual non-monogamy, LGBTQIA+ mental health, and body image work (with a focus on body neutrality and deconstructing diet culture).

Vanessa Cheshier, LCSW

Are you a family member or caretaker of someone with a serious mental illness? Do you want to overcome overeating, control alcohol or drug dependencies, or learn how to regulate your emotions? Are you experiencing social anxiety or obsessive thoughts, going through a major life transition, or seeking to discover your true self? If you answered yes to any of these questions, I may be a good fit as your therapist. I use a person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach to create a safe, nurturing, non-judgmental environment for therapy. I will meet you where you are and guide you to draw on your own unique strengths to reach your goals while simultaneously providing new skills and techniques to add to your tool belt.

Anna Blevins, M.Ed., NCC

I work with children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing a variety of struggles. My goal as a therapist is to provide clients with a warm, open, and supportive space to explore their thoughts and emotions. I support my clients in making concrete, meaningful changes that lead to growth and healing by tailoring my approach to each individual’s needs. Through our work together, you or your loved one will develop the ability to navigate life more comfortably and confidently with newfound self-awareness, fresh perspectives, and effective coping strategies.
