Specialty: Domestic Violence

Rachel Costlow, MA, NCC

I believe in a holistic approach to counseling that considers each individual’s unique life experiences and overall wellness. My training and clinical experience involves individuals experiencing mood disorders, self-esteem and body image issues, trauma, and relationship conflict including perpetrators and victims of physical and emotional abuse. I also have experience working with individuals involved in the justice system and those mandated to treatment. Every person deserves a safe place to learn about the connection between their thoughts and emotions, and to ultimately learn healthier coping behaviors.

Kelsey Meltzer, MS

I believe that we are not exclusively distressed by external things, but by the thoughts and beliefs we take of them. Integrating my unique style and approach to relationships, I aim to help you explore and challenge these beliefs that no longer serve you. As a trained generalist clinician, my areas of interest are primarily focused on sexuality and related issues. I help individuals connect to and embrace their sexual and gender identities, explore new levels of intimacy, and improve their overall sexual satisfaction.

Lauren McCall, M.Ed, Resident in Counseling at Sunstone Counseling

I believe all individuals contain the power of resilience. If life has thrown you a curveball, if you are hurt or grieving, or if you are just feeling stuck, it is easy to lose sight of this. I offer an empathetic and collaborative approach that helps individuals harness their strengths to necessitate healing and growth. I focus on trauma-informed modalities with a strong focus on Gestalt Therapy (the focus on the here and now). I utilize elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and various other techniques. I have dedicated nearly ten years to providing services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence but also work with diverse clients facing many types of life stressors and transitions.

Patricia Cisnero, LPC

I specialize in working with trauma, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, relationship issues, and situational stress for a diverse adolescent and adult population. My clinical approaches include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Oriented Therapy, Person-Centered Attachment-Focused, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Play Therapy. I have worked in various roles as a Crisis Counselor in foster care, clinical outpatient therapy, and for at-risk youth and their family members. My purpose in life is to assist individuals in self-expression in a safe and compassionate space. I am here to believe in my clients until they are ready to believe in themselves.
