Specialty: Stress and Overwhelm

Rebekah Rexrode

I believe in connection. I believe in authenticity. I believe that our early childhood experiences impact our adult selves and how we relate to the world. I counsel from the belief that the relationship between client and therapist is central to growth and healing. My approach is client-centered and collaborative, and my goal is to empower clients to set goals and realistic action plans to achieve them.

I support a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and the consequences of trauma. I hold a particular interest in assisting clients through family transitions, whether it involves navigating conflict, adjusting to the addition of a child, or seeking a sense of balance. Drawing on principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, neuroscience, and psychodynamic theory, I aim to integrate culture and identity into our understanding of your approach to life.

Laura Moon, LPC, NCC, CTP

My specialty areas include, but are not limited to: trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I believe cognitions influence behavior, and early childhood events can shape how one views themselves, others, and the world. This results in learned patterns of thinking and behavior that can be brought to awareness with counseling. I am certified to work with couples as a SYMBIS and Gottman Level 1 clinician by focusing on communication/conflict resolution skills while restoring friendship and trust in the relationship. I can integrate Christian counseling for those who are interested in incorporating faith in their treatment.
