It takes great strength to reach out for a helping hand when you need it! My greatest goal is to create a safe/secure environment for my clients to express themselves and encourage them to work with their current stressors. Each person’s journey is unique and it would be my privilege to share this journey with you.

As a resident counselor, I work from a perspective of understanding and empathy that can create a climate to encourage you, help you to openly express your thoughts/emotions so that we can focus on how to set goals, identify feelings, develop skills and strategies to cope with several challenges that you might be facing. As we work together, my goal for you will start feeling more empowered and open up about several feelings/emotions that might be challenging to express.

I enjoy working with individuals of all ages such as children, adolescents, adults, and families. I provide an eclectic approach of therapy which includes a perspective of a trauma informed, culturally competent, client centered and collaborative. I want to create an inviting and non-judgmental space for you, your child and family.

I offer services on a variety of topics such as depression, trauma and PTSD, anxiety, grief & loss, life transitions, adjustment difficulties, disordered eating, self esteem related issues, behavioral issues and other obstacles. My approach to counseling is person centered, strength-based, trauma focused and also utilizing a variety of approaches from CBT and mindfulness based approach.

I use play therapy to help children and also their parents to develop their awareness while struggling to manage their big emotions and build/practice strategies to overcome some behavioral challenges. I also have experience working with adolescents and their families to address a wide variety of mental health challenges.

I’m very passionate about working with adolescents and helping/guiding them through the challenges that they might face such as anxiety, depression, friendship/relational skills, difficult family dynamics, and gender identity concerns. That’s why, I devote my time and skills to work with the LGBTQIA+ population.
