If you’re looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you’re just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your unique goals. In my time as a high school instructor, college educator, and student of counseling and psychology; my philosophy on the therapeutic alliance has blossomed into a holistic process in which there is a co-creation of meaning between client and clinician. In order to accomplish this “co-creation of meaning,” I attempt constantly to balance three basic dialectics: 1) Facilitating knowledge and understanding with theory and application; 2) Helping and challenging clients while encouraging creative experimentation; and 3) Respecting and supporting a wide variety of clients and client needs while maintaining balance and fairness.  As a mind-body therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life.

It is my priority, as an educator and mental health clinician, to inspire and relate to you, encourage you to develop your creativity and strength, as well as explore and express your inner artists. My approach to therapy is humanistic, evidence-based, and encourages you to identify strengths, and build valuable psychosocial skills for healthy psychological, physiological, and spiritual/ethereal development. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
