If you are seeking a therapist, it stands to reason you could use a hand with some challenge in your life. Whether it is depression, anxiety, chemical dependency, compulsive overeating, Borderline Personality Disorder, academic challenges, existential angst, or turmoil related to a loved one with any of these challenges, I would love to support you as you work through this interval.

Forging a relationship with a mental health counselor can be one of the more significant relationships one creates in their life. I aim to listen in a way that makes you feel safe plumbing your emotional depths. I will point out things you have said and strengths you possess in the moments when you most need to be reminded of them. I hope to share the occasional insight that will make tackling challenges easier or at least enable you to see them in a different light. Bring your sense of humor. While this endeavor is one I take seriously, laughter can sometimes be the momentary vacation, from ourselves and our challenges, that we need.
