“There are no individuals in the world, only fragments of
families.” – Carl Whitaker

My outlook on counseling pulls from mainly three areas. First, I
shape how I interact with anybody that walks into the office
from a person-centered perspective and treat them with
positivity, empathy, and respect. By fostering this genuine
relationship during our sessions, I hope that a sense of
confidence and self-fulfillment is developed to better help you
with the interpersonal relationships that you have outside of the
office. I look forward to growing together, pushing each other to
become who we are looking to be, and testing the limits of what we thought we could do. I believe that all of this can come from
simply developing a strong relationship and seeing how far it
can take us.

I am also deeply interested in couples and family work. I
believe in the impact that other people (especially those in close
proximity) can have on one’s life. In many cases there is no
telling how much of an impact that family, partners, or friends
can have on one’s life as well as the impact that someone can
have on their friends, partners, or families lives. Humans are
social beings and we learn a lot from our environment and I
believe that looking into the interactions from the individuals
we consider close has shown to be of great value.

Finally, I have years of experience working with kids of many
ages. I love to incorporate play therapy into my work with kids
and making sure that the environment is as playful and
expressive as they need. I always work my hardest to engage
with the kids and make sure that it is not only fun, but fulfilling,
rewarding, and full of growth.

More About Me:

First of all, I love music of a lot of different genres, but my
favorite has got to be Jazz and Big Band! I am in a competitive
cornhole league that meets every week. I try and get out to play
golf as much as I can. I used to play trumpet in the Florida State
University Marching Chiefs. I am learning to play guitar.
Finally, I am interested in and love to travel!
