Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone.” – Lisa Olivera

I believe in connection. I believe in authenticity. I believe that our early childhood experiences impact our adult selves and how we relate to the world. I counsel from the belief that the relationship between client and therapist is central to growth and healing. My approach is client-centered and collaborative, and my goal is to empower clients to set goals and realistic action plans to achieve them.

I believe that healing and wholeness in relationships and as an individual is possible, no matter the starting point. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space to support my clients in becoming more grounded and connected to their whole and authentic self and tailor my approach for each client’s individual lifestyle and needs.

Having experienced the transformative power of therapy in my own life, I come to the field of clinical mental health after more than 25 years of working closely with families and individuals as a personal assistant. I also have nearly a decade of experience as a camp counselor, and I work well with children. I am committed to walking beside my clients as they explore their personal journey with compassion, humor and authenticity.

More About Me:

When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and our animals. I am also a certified equine massage therapist, so I love spending time in a barn when I can. I enjoy catching up on the latest great show, reading, the ocean, and photographing the moon; it reminds me that we are all connected to something larger than ourselves.
