“If I am not good to myself, how can I expect anyone else to be good to me?”

— Maya Angelou

It can be very difficult and discouraging trying to figure it all out on your own. It can be even more difficult to admit that you need help when you look around and it seems like everyone else is doing better than you. Good news: It’s not about them, this is about you, and I want to help you on your journey to discovering what you want for yourself. I want to help you craft a life where you thrive in every way. More good news: You haven’t fallen behind and there is still time.

So how can I help you reach your goals? By listening and asking the questions you may not be ready to answer. By challenging you to look at things from a different perspective. By trying to help you see the lessons in behaviors that are not serving you. If that sounds like a bit much, don’t worry. During our time working together, I will help you to process any feelings or concerns that come along with finding those answers. My goal is to help you develop the skills to move forward in this world with clarity and confidence. I use a combination of theoretical interventions like Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Overall, I prefer a holistic approach to look at all areas of your life because I believe that we are more than our problems and struggles. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, life transitions (grief and loss, divorce, relationship counseling) or just trying to find your way, reach out and let’s talk about it.
